Commentary: Here is a slogan cobbled together from two named Pentel pencils . The sentence under the Pentel Champ reads: “A winning combination of style and affordability.” Can’t argue with that. Nor can I complain about the Pentel Tuff as a “Hard Use Sharp.” I can only fathom what “hard use” would be…probably killing rodents…
